Job Description
1. Follows weekly menus for preparing client meals which includes breakfast, lunch, sack lunches, and dinner all in accordance with nutritional standards, medical, and religious requests; refer to policy and procedures for further details.
2. Prepares and provides special requests for religious or medical special diets as reasonable.
3. Responsible for supplying snack items of fruits on a continual basis.
4. Monitors inventory of food items and kitchen supplies on a regular basis.
5. Responsible for maintaining all health code standards to ensure safety compliance for kitchen and dining areas of both facilities; see policies and procedures for further instructions (example food storage).
6. Responsible for stocking and replenishing kitchen areas in both facilities.
7. Oversees client details to ensure clean-up of food storage areas, including but not limited to kitchen and dining areas in facilities.
8. Assist with cleaning Glory House Apartment units when tenants move out as needed.
9. Responsible for keeping apartment common areas, public bathrooms, hallways, stairs, walk areas, and conference rooms/community rooms clean and tidy.
10. Communicate with and notify maintenance/apartment department of any issues or safety hazards.
11. Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies to Facility Manager.
12. Provides documentation on safety and sanitation to Facility Manager/Housing Manager.
13. Compliance of chemical supply and compliance with SDS.
14. Responsible for ensuring the safety regulations and standards of Glory House are maintained
to the highest quality.
15. Ability to lift or move items up to thirty pounds and standing/walking for long periods of time.
18. Ensure the proper disposal of trash and recycling items of kitchen products.
