JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Electrician to join our team at a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment that are critical to facility operations.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The successful applicant will have experience with three-phase motors, PLC programming, control systems, and general electrical work in an industrial setting.
We are looking for a team player who is proactive, has strong problem-solving skills, and possesses a commitment to safety and quality. The Industrial Electrician will work closely with other trades and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations of the facility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED certification and must be a journeyman electrician certified by the state of South Dakota and the City of Sioux Falls; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must possess or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire a valid Class B commercial driver’s license (with no restrictions with tanker and air brake endorsements (Water Reclamation).
Possession of valid City and State Electrical Contractor’s Licenses is mandatory for the C42 level position.
