Job Description
Now accepting applications for a regular full-time Environmental Services Specialist. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This position performs clerical, accounting, and administrative assignments to support Planning and Zoning, Demolition Landfill, Recycling, Household Hazardous Waste, Feedlots and all areas of the Environmental Services Office. The person who will succeed in this position enjoys overall office coordination and administrative assistance to colleagues, and thrives when providing customer service to contractors, developers, property owners, feedlot operators and the public. Attending evening meetings of the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment for minute-taking purposes is expected.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma/GED and an associate’s degree, or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree in environmental science.
