Job Description
We are expanding and need several additional Field Service on the road and in the shop Diesel Technicians/Mechanic.
Job duties include but not limited to.
- *Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks/equipment
- *Repair and troubleshoot engines
- *Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty components
- *Positive interface with foreman, parts department and customers
- *General computer skills *Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
- *Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them
- *Solid written and verbal communication skills
Position Requirements: *Experienced Diesel Tech OR we will train the right person that has a background in diesel mechanics *Must have your own set of general tools *Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs *Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum 1 year of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks/equipment or trade school.
-Ability to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
-Possess own set of general tools.
-Utilize computers for web-based training and work order system.
-Technical degree or certification a plus.
-Solid written and verbal communication skills.
