Foundation Development Director at ICAP

Location: Madison, SD or Sioux Falls, SD

Type: Full-time, Exempt

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support ICAP's empowering programs.

· Cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and community leaders.

· Communicate the impact of ICAP's work through various channels, demonstrating how we empower families and seniors.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.

· Proven experience in fundraising and strategic communications, with CFRE preferred.

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
2. Four (4) years relevant experience and/or training.
3. Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential is preferred.

Language Skills
1. Ability to read, interpret and write complex documents.
2. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
3. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of an organization.

Mathematical Skills
1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
2. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Other Work-Related Abilities
1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
2. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
3. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Certificates, Licenses, Examinations
1. Possess or ability to possess a valid South Dakota Drivers License and good driving record.
2. Other such examination as deemed appropriate and necessary by ICAP.
3. Ability to be bonded.
