Full Time Lead Teacher for 2 year old's - URGENTLY HIRING

Job Description

$17+ per hour! Kid's Crossing is hiring for a full time Lead Teacher in our 2 year old classroom. You will be working alongside 4-5 other teachers interacting with the kids, helping with meals, changing diapers, potty training, helping with naps, participating in circle time, etc. You will receive lots of cuddles and unconditional hugs from our little ones.

Hours/Job Info

• Full Time Position (40) hours per week
• Toddler classroom (ages 24-36 months)
• April 2025 Start Date

Responsibilities of Assistant Teacher

• Provide quality care to children
• Lead in implementing classroom curriculum
• Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
• Assist in providing meals, diaper changes, potty training, naps, and necessary care for toddlers
• Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
• Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with lead teacher
• Assist in regular communication with parents and staff

Skills/Knowledge

• Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
• Have a basic understanding of children's growth and development throughout the toddler stages

Applicant Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Have previous childcare experience
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
• Have no felony convictions
• Willing to complete state required background checks
• Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
