General Manager – Jacobson Plaza Restaurant and Bar

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams, cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage budgets and financial goals, including forecasting, cost control, and maximizing profitability.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue, including special events, promotions, and partnerships in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop menus that reflect the venue's unique atmosphere and local tastes.
- Coordinate special events and programming, such as seasonal activities, promotions, and sponsorships, to enhance customer engagement and drive repeat visits.
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences, addressing customer feedback and continuously improving service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue and drive customer engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the success of the restaurant.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
