Heavy Equipment Service Advisor - Sioux Falls

Job Description

TranSource Truck & Equipment is looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Service Advisor at our Sioux Falls branch. Must have heavy equipment background and experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer phone calls throughout the workday.
• Report to the Service Manager and work closely with the Service Technicians, Parts and Sales Department.
• Schedule service appointments and advise customers about necessary services for routine maintenance.
• Communicate with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed and approved repairs.
• Prepares a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for services needed.
• Check on progress of repair orders throughout the day, to ensure timely completion. Communicate with customer on progress of the job and any additional repairs that are required.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.

• Responsible to keep skills up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, & dealer standards per OEM.

Hours: Monday-Friday, hours between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
