Southeastern Directions for Life is one of eleven Community Mental Health Centers in South Dakota dedicated to providing quality, professional services to keep our individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and communities emotionally strong and healthy. Our mission is "empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world." We serve children, adults, and families in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook, and Turner Counties.
Southeastern Directions for Life has an immediate opening for a full-time Homebased Therapist at our Summit location. Schedule is Monday-Friday; varied hours. Expected to be flexible to meet the needs of families. Will include some evenings.
JOB SUMMARY: The Homebased Therapist is a member of a multidisciplinary team and will have the responsibility to provide counseling to assigned caseload. While providing individual, group, and family therapy, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention consultation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a helping profession required and enrolled in a masters program; licensure preferred. Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
