Comfort Inn & Suites Sanford Sports Complex is currently seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at our hotel facility.
Experience/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably, at least one (1) year of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium lifting - occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force, and/or frequently or constantly exerting up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
- Required to kneel, bend or stoop, and ascend or descend stairs.
- Ability to stand throughout entire shift.
- Available for evening and weekend shifts.

- Maintain regular attendance, as required by the hotel's scheduling needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and nametag.
- Comply with Company and Choice Hotel Standards to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Display problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate, prevent, identify, and resolve issues as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Fundamental Requirements:
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to Company and Choice Hotel Standards.
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of hallways, public areas, and closets by regularly cleaning, tidying, and vacuuming.
- Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day's use.
- Refill chemical bottles and ensure proper labeling.
- Report any missing items from guestrooms to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Immediately report any maintenance repairs to management using the appropriate work order system.
- Handle lost and found items according to Company Standards.
- Always display attentiveness, friendliness, helpfulness, and courtesy towards all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
Guest Satisfaction:
- Respect guests' privacy and follow established Company standards and procedures when entering guest rooms
- Extend a warm and hospitable welcome to all guests, adhering to company standards.
- Responsibly and promptly fulfill immediate guest requests.
Safety and Security:
- Adhere to Company safety and security policies and procedures, as well as comply with OSHA and other applicable state and local regulations.
- Report and properly store lost-and-found items in accordance with Company and Choice Hotel policies and procedures.
