Murray County is seeking a dynamic and accomplished candidate for our Human Resources Director/Deputy Administrator position. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of the county’s organizational vision and goals, oversee the personnel management functions, and administer employee benefits for Murray County.
Duties include but are not limited to supervising and directing activities, providing training, and assisting the County Administrator in the management in the day-to-day affairs of the county. This candidate will perform the duties of the County Administrator in his/her absence.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Qualifications: Four-year degree in human resources, business management or public administration and three years of experience in a related field. A master’s degree and SHRM certification is highly preferred.
Salary Range: $37.41– $48.63 per hour
