Job Description

Creative Surfaces Inc; a National manufacturing company of custom store fixtures, signage, and countertops for retail, automotive, and casino industry with manufacturing facilities in Sioux Falls, SD and Rapid City, SD is seeking a Installation Manager for Sioux Falls Countertop division.

At Creative Surfaces, Inc our Installation Manager manages the communication, execution and scheduling of install teams. They will communicate directly with customers and home owners as well as our internal team of managers and sales people. Job Requirements

Daily functions to include:

  1. Schedule installers for Countertop, Cabinet and Sign Division which utilize our Sioux Falls, SD & Fargo, ND install crews.
  2. Manage and oversee a team of over 10+ employees.
  3. Generate install paperwork for install crews.
  4. Coordinate with Project Management, Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure items will be received prior to installation.
  5. Coordinate with Customers, General Contractors and Sales of scheduled install dates.
  6. Manage and oversee installation P&L per job and month financial statements.
  7. Travel to jobs to provide oversight and quality control.
  8. Oversee Fleet Maintenance
  9. Follow up on After Action Report
  10. Lead training, safety and continuous improvement sessions “tool box talks” on a weekly basis
  11. Review and follow up job “Daily Log”
  12. Other Duties as Assigned


Requirements
-

  1. (Required) 3 years of experience of managing 5 or more direct reports; preferably in the construction, countertop or cabinet industry.
  2. Computer Literate in Microsoft Office (Required), Google Workspace (Required), Buildertrend, Procore, and Sage Business Works)
  3. (Required) Read and understand Architectural Blueprints and Construction Plans & Documents
  4. (Required) Work out of our Sioux Falls, SD facility.
  5. (Required) Clean Driving record, ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles ranging from car to 26’ box truck
  6. 2 years of Project, Construction or Business Management Degree
  7. Detail oriented and well organized
  8. Ability to problem solve on the fly, while still maintaining daily business functions
  9. Can effectively communicate via oral, written, and electronic with a wide variety of people (Customers, Contractors, Sales, and Installation Crews)
  10. Ability to work well with others.
  11. Ability to obtain OSHA-30 Certification within the first 60 days of employment.
  12. Travel up to 30% of time, home 95% of nights
