Overview
Seeking a skilled Foreman to oversee and manage office facility installation projects. This position will require frequent travel to job sites across South Dakota and North Dakota. The ideal candidate will have experience in project scheduling, supervising crews, and managing construction projects from start to finish. This role involves working closely with the project team, ensuring smooth execution, and problem-solving on-site challenges.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage office layout and furnishings construction projects.
- Attend pre-installation meetings, site verifications, walkthroughs, After Action Reviews, and other meetings to ensure work orders and project plans are accurate.
- Keep the Client, Operations Lead, and Project Lead informed about installation progress and project schedule.
- Supervise direct workers, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
- Ensure products are installed accurately according to installation drawings, making field adjustments as needed to meet customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot unforeseen issues on the job site by collaborating with the project team to find the most efficient, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lead or Foreman role in construction or installation projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of job site supervision experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of 1-3 crew members.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to pass a government background check.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and project scheduling.
- Valid Driver’s License (Required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
