Job Description
Murray County is taking applications for an Intermittent Dispatcher/Jailer. The 911 dispatched experienced person for this position will be available for a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is not regularly scheduled and will work in “on-call” situations.

This purpose of this position is to provide a backup for Dispatch when shifts must be covered on relatively short notice. The perfect candidate for this position will have at least one year of experience in 911 dispatch and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Education: Minimum of a High School diploma/GED
Desired Qualifications: One year of experience in 911 center, bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish
Starting Salary: $23.70 per hour
