Position Title:Data Analytics and Change Management Intern

Location: Statewide within South Dakota, Brookings, Pierre, Sioux Falls, or Rapid City.
Minimum Salary: $22.54/hour

Position Description:
The intern will work on and be assigned a project preparation for the HRIS system upgrade for Payroll and WFM, process improvements for this and change management effort planning. This will also include some data validation and help with data analytics, process flows prior to and during project. There will be a combination of opportunities for saving and other metrics for success of the newly combined Bureau of Human Resource and Administration.
The intern should have a strong understanding of change management tools and theories. Data analytics and understanding of data validation would be a plus. Intern should be able to work independent and with in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply. By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.
All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions.
