The Division of Finance, Office of Recoveries and Fraud Investigations is seeking an articulate professional who is organized, energetic, motivated, and dependable. This individual must be driven by our vision to build Strong Families, South Dakota's Foundation and Our Future. The Office of Recoveries and Fraud is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Investigator. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating cases to ensure that applicants obtain and utilize benefits appropriately according to federal and state regulations. This includes conducting investigations of alleged fraud, preparing evidence, writing comprehensive reports, and interviewing witnesses and subjects of investigation.

Knowledge of:

- Department of Social Services program policies and procedures;
- r ules and regulations pertaining to recovering improper payments.

- draw conclusions based on facts or evidence.
This position is eligible for Veterans' Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
