IT SUPPORT/MARKETING COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTS TO: DEPUTY DIRECTOR / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
OBJECTIVE OF JOB: In the IT Specialist/Marketing assistant role, you are expected to be the in-house IT liaison for multiple computer systems and programs. Common tasks may include coordination of software, hardware, assisting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting technical issues with computers or office equipment, and updating and maintaining the company website and other technology touchpoints. Additionally, this position will include assisting the Director of Program Relations to effectively promote the brand of Sioux Falls Housing and Redevelopment Commission. Success in this role will be demonstrated by effectively and promptly solving technical issues so that normal business operations remain uninterrupted. This position will support all Directors of the organization and administer theirs and their teams I.T. and marketing needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist employees with technology issues
- Main point of contact for MRI software
- Promptly addresses MRI interruptions for the organization
- Reports network interruptions and server outages
- Troubleshoots system errors and failures
- Monitors support requests and documents all processes
- Develops and maintains preventive measures to avoid internet-related interruption
- Role will include managing social media and company website
- Will be point person in working with our communication hubspot
- Role will include promoting client and organizational relationships to promote brand
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exemplary problem-solving skills
- Experience with networking protocols
- Progressing marketing knowledge
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree; bachelor’s degree in IT, Marketing or any related field preferred
- At least 2 years of work experience may substitute for educational requirements
- Advanced knowledge in commonly used Windows operating systems
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of valid driver’s license, an operable vehicle and proof of auto liability insurance.
Subject to criminal background and credit check.
HOURS OF DUTY
Monday - Friday (Full time position)
Hours: 8:00 – 5:00
