Legislative Audit is looking for an experienced, motivated, and skilled individual to perform audits of various state agencies and departments.

Major responsibilities will include:

Qualifications :
Legislative Auditor II:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. 2 to 3 years' experience in auditing, information technology/systems auditing, financial analysis, accounting, or other relevant fields. Candidates are not required to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for employment.
- However, certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor (CIDA) may substitute for experience.
Legislative Auditor III:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. 4 to 6 years' experience in auditing, information technology/systems auditing, financial analysis, accounting, or other relevant fields. Candidates are not required to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for employment.
- However, certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor (CIDA) may substitute for experience.
Knowledge of the following would be beneficial: - Microsoft Excel, Word, and other desktop tools;
- Governmental Accounting;
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
- Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Governmental Auditing Standards.
