We are looking for someone who is comfortable with customers. This is largely a relationship-driven sales role, so well-honed interpersonal skills are a must.

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:
Interact with our Customers:
- Greet customers, establishing rapport, and assess their needs
- Guide customers to appropriate products
- Assist with service after the sale
- Continually design & update of the sales floor layout and sales displays
- Maintain & develop contractor and designer relationships
- Represent the company at industry and community events
Stay Informed:
- Keep updated on industry information
- Complete industry training as warranted
- Stay up-to-date on current product offerings
Job Requirements:
- Formal design education preferred
- An eye for interior design and appreciation for many aesthetic styles
- Stellar communication skills
- Supportive of a team environment
- Occasional travel to off-site events such as local home show and industry functions, training, and other events
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required. (Interior Design education is a huge plus)
- Basic computer skills required
- Availability during store hours; this position required availability during showroom hours, including some Saturdays (Our showroom is closed on Sundays)
