Job Description:
Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Position Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Time Commitment: This position requires some weekend and evening shifts. Flexible scheduling during the workweek, with the possibility of some remote work.
Compensation: $40,000–$45,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits

Reports To: Vice President of Programming
Position Overview: The Marketing Coordinator will oversee and implement Levitt at the Falls' marketing and communications strategy, ensuring the mission, programs, and community impact are effectively conveyed across all platforms. This role manages digital marketing, social media, content creation, public relations, audience engagement, and event support, serving a key role in elevating the Levitt brand. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with exceptional communication skills, a strategic thinker with branding expertise and design sensibility, and a passionate advocate for the transformative power of music. The successful candidate will be expected to work weekends throughout the summer concert series.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Levitt’s programs, concerts, development efforts, and events.
- Design and implement campaigns to grow and engage Levitt’s audience.
- Serve as staff liaison to the Levitt Marketing Committee, scheduling committee meetings, setting agendas, and collaborating on communication planning.
Content Creation & Brand Management:
- Curate and produce original, engaging content, including photography, video, and graphic design, for:
- Digital platforms (website updates, email campaigns, Daktronics video board, and social media).
- Print materials (brochures, rack cards, posters, annual reports, and development materials).
- Ensure all materials align with Levitt’s branding and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate with artists, sponsors, and community partners to craft compelling stories showcasing Levitt’s impact.
- Design and manage the acquisition of branded items for sale and distribution to volunteers and donors.
Public Relations, Outreach, and Event Support:
- Manage media relations by drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and serving as spokesperson when needed.
- Build partnerships with media and community organizations to broaden Levitt’s reach and accessibility.
- Represent Levitt at community events as an ambassador for the organization.
- Capture and archive photos and video during Levitt events for marketing, development, and documentation purposes.
- Support on-site operations and audience engagement during concerts and programs.
Administrative Duties:
- Track and analyze metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and audience engagement.
- Manage marketing and development mailings.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets and coordinate with external vendors, including printers and designers.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing outcomes and opportunities for growth.
- Monitor and recommend adjustments to ongoing marketing efforts to support the organization’s budget, mission, and goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise part-time marketing interns, providing guidance on content creation, social media management, and event support.
