Overview
JDS Industries, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Director to lead and develop our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a multi-disciplinary team and a strong background in digital marketing, brand strategy, and campaign execution. As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving brand growth, increasing customer engagement, and achieving lead generation and revenue targets. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance high-level strategy with day-to-day management and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels.
Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer insights.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand awareness, lead generation, conversion rates, customer retention, and marketing ROI.
• Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, product launches, and high-impact promotional campaigns.
2. Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and inspire graphic design, multimedia, and tradeshow teams.
• Provide direction, set objectives, and support professional growth for each team member.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
3. Marketing & Campaign Management
• Oversee and optimize all digital marketing channels (website, social media, email, paid media, SEM, SEO) to maximize reach and engagement.
• Ensure all marketing materials are thoroughly reviewed, polished, and in the final draft form before submission for approval.
• Strategically manage tradeshow participation and execution to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
• Develop and manage integrated campaigns that drive engagement and measurable growth.
• Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize effectiveness.
4. Brand Management & Content Strategy
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
• Drive thought leadership and brand storytelling to position the company as a leader in the market.
• Oversee content strategy to deliver engaging, value-driven messaging that resonates with target audiences.
5. Expense Management & ROI Analysis
• Manage the marketing spend, ensuring resources are optimized across channels and campaigns.
• Measure and report on ROI for all marketing activities, using analytics tools to track and optimize performance.
• Make data-driven decisions to maximize marketing effectiveness and optimize revenue.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Product Development, Distribution and Customer Service, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Communicate marketing performance and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
· Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a management role.
· Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing a team, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
· Digital Expertise: Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
· Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and experience using analytics tools to make data-driven decisions.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to customers and executive teams.
· Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
• Must be able to use computer keyboard and company software programs.
• Regular hours Monday – Friday.
• Available outside regular hours is required as needed.
• Available to travel as needed.
