Mechanics, Deisel Engine, Truck, and Heavy Equipment

We are recruiting OEM Dealership Mechanics to join the team of a leading regional distributor of semi-trucks, construction equipment, and power generation units. If you are an experienced, efficient, and effective truck or heavy equipment mechanic, who prefers to be part of a team seeking to achieve individual and business excellence and growth, this opportunity may be for you.

How will you spend your time?

• Effectively and efficiently diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, busses, or construction/heavy equipment
• Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair diesel engines
• Maintain timely and effective communication with the Service Foreman
• Complete timely and accurate job order records
• Embrace skills and knowledge training and development
• Achieve and maintain required OEM certifications

We are excited about you if you have the following?

• Prior record of success as a Mechanic in the Truck, Heavy Equipment, or Power Generation industries
• Excellent knowledge of diesel engines: Detroit Diesel, Cummins, CAT and International
• Proficiency with some of the following systems: electrical, automatic/manual transmissions, drive train, heavy equipment tacks, brakes, suspensions, and hydraulics.
• Possess a positive attitude, committed to individual and department success
• Require valid driver’s license with good driving record; prefer CDL-A
• Must possess basic tools needs, with specialty and diagnostic tools provided
• Full physical abilities (Strength, flexibility, mobility) to perform job duties.

• Work schedule: Open 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, flexible but set schedule
• Starting Compensation: $23 to $42 hr., depending on experience
• Benefits: Full benefits package with tools and PPE program.
