Now Hiring: Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Are you passionate about shaping the minds of young learners and helping them develop a strong understanding of history, geography, and social studies? St. Francis Indian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a middle school social studies teacher.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and respectful discussion.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth and development.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Certification in middle school social studies.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with middle school students.
