Motorcycle and Powersports Service Technician
The largest Powersports and motorcycle dealership in the region, Vern Eide Motoplex is accepting applications in Sioux Falls, SD for a Motorcycle and Powersports Service Technician.

The service technician is responsible for providing quality repairs and services for all incoming units. You must use product knowledge and mechanical experience to ensure all service and repair needs are met. You will be responsible for completing both customer machine service and internal work such as setting up incoming machines and installation of accessories.
Pay starts at $20/ hour and goes up to $30/ hour depending on experience. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am- 6:15 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am – 5:15 pm. There will be one day off during the week during the rotating weekend that you are scheduled to work.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake servicing.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in motorcycles.
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild engines and other components.
Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations to customers.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and offering advice on maintenance.
Thoroughly communicate and work closely with all departments.
Follow set processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and detail-oriented.
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Must have own tools.
- Motorcycle / Powersports Repair experience or education/training.
- ASE and manufacturer certification desired, but not necessary.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid class 2 driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement and an acceptable safe driving record.
