Sentinel Federal Credit Union is seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fully supporting our staff by installing and configuring technology infrastructure, including hardware components, cabling, peripherals, and software. Your ability to provide excellent internal customer service will be essential in addressing all technology needs effectively.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Provide customer support in a diverse workforce in a professional and productive manner.

  • Maintain open and clear lines of communication with varied members of the organization.

  • Responsible for installing and/or integrating server hardware, applications, hardware components, cables, etc.

  • Configuring network software.

  • Assist with ensuring network security, connectivity, maintenance of electronic document management, maintenance of the Barracuda system, Office 365 program, and Active Directory, phone system configuration and administration, monitoring and ensuring completion of patch management for all servers, PCs, and devices and asset management.

  • Diagnosis and problem solve various technology issues.

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all Credit Union information and documents.

  • Assist with staff technology training and maintaining the confidentiality and security of all Credit Union information and documents.

Starting Pay Range: $20.00/hour DOE

Expected Start Date: Immediate Hire

Number of Available Positions: One

Requirements/Preferences:

  • A minimum of 18 years of age required.

  • A valid driver’s license required.

  • 2 years direct and relevant experience required.

  • High School Diploma required.

  • College education preferred.

  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be accepted.

  • Combination of acceptable experience and education required.

Employees must possess the manual dexterity required to perform computer-related tasks. Employees must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently and in a professional manner.

Ability to comprehend complex functions and procedures and to be able to disseminate that knowledge in a clear and understandable format to others. The ability to make sound decisions. This includes making on-the-spot decisions. Ability to express oneself, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports. Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts and develop solutions. Ability to analyze statistics and financial data. Ability to assess the needs of multiple members and prioritize requests to ensure that all employees receive the highest quality of service possible. Ability to present a professional and personable personality. Ability to interact with more than one department daily. Ability to work within precise standardized guidelines with some latitude to make decisions and take initiative to resolve problems or unique circumstances. Ability to use a rational and organized approach to completing tasks.
