Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the On-Call Snow Removal Technician is to maintain the health and appearance of customer’s lawns, shrubs and plants and other landscape elements. This position will perform a variety of outdoor projects that improve the functional and/or aesthetic value of the property. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously. Perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

- Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Take direction from Foreman.
- Communicate with crew foreman to make sure the job is getting done the right way in the right
- amount of time
- Operate any required equipment in a safe manner. If you have questions about how to operate equipment, please communicate that with your crew foreman immediately.
- Follow all policies and requirements as specified in the employee handbook.
- Work all hours necessary to make sure your assigned job(s) are completed in a timely mannerand satisfactory manner. This will include weekend and holidays if necessary.
- Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company
- Treat all company property and equipment with respect.
Perform other duties relating to this position as they arise.
Required:
- Warm clothing to work outside.
- Transportation to and from the Weller Brothers shop at the beginning and end of shift.
- Completed paperwork including ID to show eligibility to work in USA.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee must be able to perform the following tasks during a typical 8+hour day.
Sedentary work: Lifting up to 10#; occasionally lifting or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Work essentially involves sitting and is considered sedentary if only a small amount of walking and standing is necessary to carry out duties.
Light work: Lifting up to 20#, frequently lifting of carrying objects up to 10#. Work is classified light if it requires walking or standing to a significant degree (regardless of weight lifted) or involves sitting most of the time with a degree or pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
Light medium work: Lifting up to 30#; frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 20#.
Medium work: Lifting up to 50#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 25#.
Light heavy work: Lifting up to 80#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 45#.
X Heavy work: Lifting up to 100#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 80#.
