Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and motivated Online Gift Shop Specialist to control our online and in-store operations. This role includes uploading product photos, organizing and counting inventory, fulfilling online orders, and assisting customers in our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Photograph and upload product images to our e-commerce platform with clear and engaging descriptions.
- Ensure product listings are accurate and updated regularly.
- Inventory Management:
- Count, track, and organize inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with reordering supplies as needed.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Pack and ship customer orders promptly and carefully to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with shipping providers to address delivery issues.
- Retail Store Support:
- Assist customers with in-store purchases, offering a friendly and helpful shopping experience.
- Restock shelves and maintain an appealing store display.
- Handle transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement promotional campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and basic photography skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
- Comfortable lifting and organizing inventory up to 25lbs.
