Outside Sales Representative Overview

SBI Manufacturing is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector.

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and requirements to propose appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to align strategies and tactics.
• Identify and research potential customers within the current industrial sectors we participate in such as agriculture, transportation, construction, and contract manufacturing sectors.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

• Outside Sales Reports directly to Sales Manager

Working Conditions

• An Outside Sales Representative will often be going from customer to customer and will be working in an office environment using a computer.

• This position is Full time which will require 8-9 hours Monday through Friday.

Outside Sales Representative Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of carbon and aluminum alloy along with production processes.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a drive to achieve sales targets.
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
