Job Summary
The City of Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department is looking to hire many positions to support the Parks Operations with Park Maintenance. These positions play an important in maintaining and supporting the upkeep of parks within Sioux Falls. With this application, you can apply for the following position types:

  • Park maintenance
  • Pool maintenance
  • Athletic field maintenance
  • Mowing - Blvd/ROW/Parks
  • Right of Way/Blvd Crew Leaders - requires SD Applicator license within first 30 days.
  • Night Duty Supervisor

Part time and seasonal positions typically available between April and October.

Minimum Qualifications
Desired applicants must be 18 years of age and older, and able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Positions available include seasonal 40 hours per week for up to 180 consecutive days, or up to 28 hours per week with year-round potential. Typical employment season: April to October or mid-May to mid-August.
