Job Description
TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is looking to hire a Parts Sales Manager for our Rapid City branch. The ideal candidate should have truck or equipment parts sales experience.
The Parts Sales Manager will be responsible for:
• Providing a high quality level of service to both the outside customers and the internal departments,
• Overseeing the daily activities of the parts counter and the parts department employees,
• Enforcing all company policies and procedures and monitoring performance of all parts staff along with training and evaluating parts employees,
• Maintaining a safe work environment,
• Assisting in maintaining focus on parts department budget goals and operating expenses,
• Monitoring and adjusting inventory to minimize obsolescence & maintains a balanced inventory,
• Submitting returns, discrepancies and core returns on a timely basis, along with supervising stock order procedures,
• Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals,
• Providing technical assistance to parts department employees,
• Directs shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments,
• Maintaining professional appearance and ensures that the parts department employees present a professional appearance to the public
$65,000 - $85,000 per year
Qualifications:
• Must be committed to 100% customer satisfaction,
• Minimum two years experience as a parts counterperson and/or equivalent experience in a service related industry, should have management/supervisory experience,
• Possess strong managerial and organizational skills,
• Excellent Communication skills both oral and written,
• Must have enthusiasm for training and motivating direct reports and being involved in their career development,
• Must be able to manage customer expectations, lead direct reports and be flexible with both while meeting objectives,
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with all Microsoft Office products and software. Efficient in use of Microsoft Outlook,
• Must have insurable driving record and be able to pass a drug screen and background check
