Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Must have experience as a pipe foreman
- Supervise project from planning to completion
- Coordinate daily activities of 2-5 man crew
- Actively inspect work site for potential safety concerns or health hazards. Hold crew accountable to company safety procedures as well as OSHA regulations
- Submit & review employee time & evaluate crew production/progress
- Must have great skill in reading blue prints, using a pipe laser, vacuum testing of manholes, air testing sanitary sewer, pressure testing water lines
- Must be proficient in excavation, backfill & proper compaction practices
- Must be experienced with installation of sanitary sewer, storm drain & waterlines (Fire & Domestic)
- Must have knowledge of erosion control BMP's
- Must be proficient with operating Excavators, Dozers, Wheel Loaders, etc
- Must maintain a professional relationship with fellow employees, owner, inspectors & others
