We are currently seeking a skilled Plumber Apprentice to join our property management team.
As a Plumber Apprentice, you will play a vital role in assisting in maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems across our residential properties.
This position is located in Sioux Falls, SD and will be servicing our properties in Rapid City, SD, Dickinson ND and Omaha, NE.

Key Highlights:
- $25 - $29 hourly compensation
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of field operations manager and licensed plumber to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and broken fixtures.
- Help install new plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pipes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including clearing drains, checking water pressure, and monitoring for potential system failures.
- Measure, cut and assemble pipes, assist with testing plumbing systems for leaks or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance on systems and equipment.
- Support the team in responding promptly to plumbing emergencies and ensuring timely resolution.
- Safely use and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials. Keep the work area organized and clean.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
- Work closely with property management staff, tenants, and vendors to ensure quality service and timely communication.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to property management standards, and local building codes.
- Other functions as assigned by Field Operations Manager.

Education, Training and Qualifications
- Plumbing apprentice license is required.
- Prior experience in plumbing, construction, or maintenance is preferred.
- Basic knowledge in MS Office and outlook.
- Interest in pursuing a career in plumbing.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Valid Driver’s License is required to complete the essential function of the position (completing off hours emergency maintenance requests, obtaining/transporting supplies, etc.).
- Knowledge of safety procedures and basic plumbing codes.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including hot or cold temperatures and inclement weather.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
