Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Product Lifecycle Manager to join our Product Development/Engineering team. This role will be instrumental in planning and overseeing the development of new suppressors and accessories. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, to ensure our products meet market demands and capture a significant share of the industry. A successful Product Lifecycle Manager is customer-centric, data-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional products, and experiences, to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the product, aligning it with company objectives and customer needs.
- Product Development: Lead the planning, design, and execution of new suppressor and accessory projects, from concept to launch.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable product strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product specifications, timelines, and marketing strategies.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Customer Focus: Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, assess product performance, and make informed decisions for product improvements.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product launches and overall market performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the outdoor, sporting goods, or firearms industry.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong understanding of customer experience and product use within the firearm and/or suppressor industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects without direct authority.
- Passion for firearms, shooting sports, and suppressor technology is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
