Great Place Construction is a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team to facilitate, analyze and manage field coordination as part of the on-site management team. DUTIES: - Develop/implement pre-construction quality control plan.
- Assist in obtaining/maintaining construction permits.
- Administer daily project tracking and reporting.
- Manage and distribute project information and contract documents.
- Facilitate project close out.
- Actively participating in expanding your knowledge of construction means and methods by participating in project processes; rfi's, submittals, as-builts, schedules, etc.
- Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.
REQUIREMENTS: - Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of construction means, methods and practices.
- Bachelor's degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Valid DL and good driving record
