Creative Surfaces Inc: a national manufacturing company of custom store fixtures, signage, and countertops for retail, automotive, and casino industry with manufacturing facilities in Sioux Falls, SD and Rapid City, SD is seeking a Purchasing & Shipping Coordinator for our Rapid City Division.
At Creative Surfaces Inc, our Purchasing & Shipping Coordinator works closely with our Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, and sale team to understand the needs of production and sales while managing and organizing warehouse. Purchasing & Shipping Coordinator Duties:
- Create and send Purchase Orders for products and services required.
- Review packing list and follow up on back-ordered product.
- Process RMA
- Create/manage order tracker for ETAs/updates/deliveries.
- Verify all requested items were ordered and received.
- Review prints to ensure all necessary parts were requested and ordered.
- Track cost and reason for urgent production ordering
- Process and put away inbound purchases.
- Request and manage outbound shipment.
- Generate pack-out checkoff sheets
- Load and unload trucks
- Manage and deliver local product deliveries.
- Organize and manage warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous Purchasing or Warehouse experience
- Able to Lift 75lbs
- Computer literate
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to operated vehicles ranging from pick-up to 26’ Straight Truck
- Clean Driving Record
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Able to obtain DOT Health Card within 15 days of start date (Company pays for Health Card, Physical and time required to obtain)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of general wood working products
- Detail oriented person
- Organized – multi tasking is a must.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
