Quality Control Technician
Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Summary:
Enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.
To ensure success as a quality technician, you should have a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class quality technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Verify dimensions and measurements to standards on prints.
- Review finished tank for proper FRP laminate standards.
- Review finished tanks for cosmetic flaws and proper finish.
- Communicate professionally with team members issues to improve overall quality.
- Review and work with/train team members in lane on quality of laminate process.
- Verify dimensions to prints on in house manufactured items.
- Prioritize work to facilitate tanks meeting production schedule goal/deadlines.
- Work directly with production supervisor and take direction.
- Work on production floor with engineering on complex projects.
- Accurately and completely fill out all required paperwork, check sheets.

- Willingness to learn and receive on the job training
- Willingness to share information in the job training process
- Work alone with minimal direction or as part of a team
- Excellent basic arithmetic skills required
- Ability to interpret complex specification sheets required
- Ability to directly communicate verbally required
- Ability to manage your own time and set priorities
- Pay very close attention to detail and accuracy
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous production experience required
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 20 pounds overhead.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand on concrete floor up to 10 hours per day.
- Wear personal protective equipment.
- Demonstrate adequate dexterity and stamina.
- Subject to periodic drug screening.
