The Quality Assurance Department at LifeScape is looking to add a Quality Investigator Manager to the team.  LifeScape is in search of someone who has attention to detail, an inquisitive mind, works well independently but also can operate in a team.  The position requires someone who can be impartial and take the lead in investigations of potential abuse, neglect, exploitation, and mistreatment of the people LifeScape supports.  This person will be assigned an investigator training and test to be certified in this area of investigations. 

In addition, this position ensures management that employees and the organization follow the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and company policies surrounding the individual’s safety and that procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company’s Standards of Conduct.  The position will also conduct personal outcome interviews with patients and people who receive support to assist the care team with recommendations for the individual to live their best life. 

Some of the duties related to this opportunity include but are not limited to:

Manage day-to-day quality activities.

  • Conduct critical event investigations using pre-established interview techniques.
  • Compile investigative reports and make recommendations.
  • Report investigative findings to the Director of Corporate Compliance, Quality and Records and Senior Leadership.
  • Report findings to necessary outside agencies/guardians.
  • Final report findings are reported to the Quality Analyst Manager for internal reporting purposes.
  • Conduct Personal Outcome Measures (POM) interviews with patients and people who receive support from LifeScape.
  • Recommend results of POM interviews to individual’s team.

Job Requirements
An associate degree in human services, or healthcare or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of three to five years’ experience in compliance or quality assurance is required, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
