COMPANY PROFILE:

With headquarters in the Upper Midwest, our client is a top manufacturer for various industries and part of a large nationwide organization. As your employer they will partner with you to bring a fresh and innovative approach to their business, working to grow and improve an already on the rise company. Due to recent growth, they have added a position of a Quality Manager.

WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS YOU
• $90,000 - $115,000
• 15% Bonus Potential
• PTO – accrues weekly, 8 Paid Holidays, 1 Floating Holiday

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
• Quality Leadership & Improvement: Promote a quality-driven mindset across the organization to exceed customer expectations, focusing on "zero defect" performance.
• Process & Standard Development: Evaluate, improve, and establish MIG weld standards, quality measurement tools, and work instructions.
• Team & Training Oversight: Lead Manufacturing Quality Auditors, identify training needs, and coordinate quality training programs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and customers to integrate quality control into manufacturing processes.
• System & Compliance Management: Support and enhance the existing quality system, maintain QA procedures, and report on quality assurance activities.

Job Requirements
BACKGROUND PROFILE

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred, with 5+ years in quality roles within industrial manufacturing; MIG welding experience (CWI certification preferred).
• Leadership & Training: 3+ years of supervisory/management experience with the ability to motivate, teach, and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and implement new quality management technologies.
• Process Improvement & Communication: Six Sigma experience desired; results-driven self-starter with strong interpersonal skills to engage all levels of the organization.
