Regional Sales Manager, Skid Steer and Excavator Market – Must (preferred) live in TX
The Regional Sales Manager must live in Texas and will cover Texas, New Mexico, Louisianna, Oklahoma and Arkansas. This role offers a pivotal opportunity to contribute both strategically and tactically as the factory liaison to existing and future skid steer and excavator dealers in this footprint. The ideal candidate will be expected to grow Diamond business in line with overall revenue objectives.
Key Roles
- Proudly represent Diamond Mowers and our Core Values in the field
- Increase dealer and customer engagement and understanding of Diamond’s products and services as well as our competitive advantages over competing products and companies
- Promptly respond to dealer sales and support inquiries
- Assist dealers as necessary to aid them in improving their sales of Diamond products and where appropriate, to broaden and diversify their Diamond product lines
- Maintain a firm understanding of core dealers’ inventory and stocking habits
- Assist dealers in promoting Diamond’s products through sales training, co-operative marketing efforts, demos, and other promotional activities
- Work collaboratively with internal staff to deliver on Diamond’s promise to be the Most Desired Brand in the markets we serve
Responsibilities
- Strengthening existing dealer network and recruit new dealers by identifying underperforming dealers and territories and developing a plan to improve production
- Hold dealers accountable to established business plans and objectives
- Ensure dealer personnel are properly trained in business strategy, sales, and technical advantages
- Identify and recruit new dealers within the assigned territory, based upon company objectives and strategy
- Responsible for managing the dealers’ on-boarding process
- Position yourself as an expert in our space providing both business and strategic sales advice
- Attend industry events and trade shows
- Actively contribute to regular sales and company-wide meetings
Qualifications
- Previous selling experience: 5-7 years preferred.
- Previous work with industrial heavy equipment: 1-3 years preferred.
- Preferred education: Associate’s in business, Economics preferred.
- Software knowledge: MS Office, CRM preferred.
