Fischer Homes Inc.
Seeking a Residential Carpenter to assist in building custom homes and remodel projects in the Black Hills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with other Fischer Homes employees in completing detailed, high-quality construction projects
- Perform various physical tasks on job sites, such as carrying materials and operating power tools
- Perform various construction-oriented tasks, such as setting up tools on jobsites, taking measurements, installing materials, and problem-solving
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers when needed to ensure jobsite efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in carpentry
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn new trade skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and the general home-building process
- Must provide own transportation to work -- at various job sites between Rapid City, Spearfish, and Deadwood
- Must provide own tools and tool belt
Compensation:
- $22-$34/hr, based on experience (approx. 40hrs/week)
