HOURS: Full-time, Overnight Shift, on-call (as needed)

SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervision and support for youth in shelter care and reception center. A qualified applicant will provide direct client care, maintain/model appropriate boundaries, and teach applicable coping and problem-solving skills. Complete reports and documentation as necessary. Prepare accurate and timely documentation and reports as necessary. Supervise Direct Care staff. Assess client’s needs, and assist them with appropriate services, support, decisions, and plans. Coordinate appropriate resources and community referrals. Provide follow-up counseling as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science field or two years of post-secondary education (60 semester credits) plus two year’s experience working with children and/or adolescents in a group care setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
