Residential youth department is designed to be a structured, therapeutic environment for children to learn to understand and use healthy coping skills and complete goals.
Position: Full-time position, evening shift, rotating on-call shifts
Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00$20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

A Day in the life of a Residential Supervisor at Summit Oaks:
- Provide direction, evaluation, and support to residential staff.
- Conduct individual counseling sessions when needed.
- Apply therapeutic principles and ensure adherence to child protection policies.
- Ensure physical intervention for residents and staff protection if necessary.
- Transport residents as needed and maintain health and safety standards.
- Provide leadership in daily activities and emergency situations.
- Attend in-service trainings, staff meetings, and supervisor meetings.
- Cover on-call duties as assigned.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science field preferred; or two years of postsecondary education (minimum of 60 semester credits) and one year of experience working with children; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
- Requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
