This position may be eligible for a $300 Sign on Bonus after 60days
Residential youth department is designed to be a structured, therapeutic environment for children to learn to understand and use healthy coping skills and complete goals.

A Day in the life of a Residential Counselor at Canyon Hills Center:
- Ensure child protection policies are followed.
- Safeguard residents and staff through appropriate physical intervention if necessary.
- Transport residents and uphold health and safety regulations.
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences (preferred), OR
- Have completed at least 60 semester credits and have one year of experience working with children, OR
- Possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Be at least 21 years old and willing to complete agency background checks.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license or obtain one with approved driver status.
