Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. If you are passionate about cars and enjoy helping people, we want to hear from you! Previous auto sales experience is helpful, but NOT REQUIRED for this position. However, applicants from finance, real estate, retail, sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurant, and banking industries are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and capabilities, taking customers on test drives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our inventory, including current sales and promotions, financing options, and competitive features. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing follow-up and support throughout the sales process.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and process necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus
- Must be computer literate and tech-savvy
- A professional appearance
