Job Summary:

At Vern Eide Mitsubishi, we are seeking a Salesperson who is committed to excellence in automotive sales and embodies the values of being Humble, Hungry, and Smart. You will play a vital role in guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process, utilizing our Customer Relation Management (CRM) system, following company procedures, and mastering our ten-step sales process. Success in this role requires not only a strong understanding of our products but also a dedication to ongoing self-training and development.

Our Sales Associates are paid based on a commission structure, so your income is only limited by your ambition level. For example, our average salesperson at Mitsubishi earns over $65,000 yearly. During the first 6 months of employment, we provide a guaranteed minimum income, allowing new associates to focus on learning the product and the "Eide” way of doing business instead of worrying about their pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and assist them in selecting the right vehicle by asking insightful questions and actively listening.
  • Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Gain and maintain a deep understanding of our vehicle inventory, including features, pricing, and promotions. Confidently demonstrate vehicle capabilities and conduct test drives.
  • Training and Development: Participate in initial product and process training to ensure you are fully prepared to meet customer needs. Engage in ongoing self-training to stay updated on new models, features, and sales techniques.
  • Utilization of CRM: Accurately input and update customer information in the CRM system, ensuring that all interactions are documented and that follow-ups are timely.
  • Company Procedures: Adhere to all company procedures, ensuring that every step of the sales process is completed accurately and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Sales Process: Master and follow Vern Eide Mitsubishi’s ten-step sales process, ensuring consistency and excellence in every customer interaction.
  • Self-Marketing: Proactively engage in self-marketing activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones, including networking and social media engagement.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and close sales deals, always striving for outcomes that satisfy both the customer and the dealership.
  • Paperwork and Compliance: Prepare and process all necessary sales and lease documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and dealership policies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and follow-up to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, demonstrating a strong drive and commitment to personal and dealership success.

Requirements:

  • Experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Commitment to following company procedures and the ten-step sales process.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to market yourself and the dealership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Computer literacy and Tech savviness is a must
