As our Sales Success Director, you'll be responsible for enhancing the performance of the sales team by providing coaching, training, and development programs to help grow and retain clients. This role involves assessing the sales team’s needs, delivering effective training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the team exceeds the sales targets.

What we need you to lead ... 

  • Sales Strategies Process & Funnel Optimization
    • Lead Nurturing: Support strategy development for a systematic approach to nurture leads via email, phone calls, webinars, or personalized content to drive conversion.
    • Improving Close Rates: Use proven techniques like urgency, scarcity, and addressing objections to close the deal. Incorporate upselling or cross-selling where appropriate.
  • Setting and Measuring Sales Objectives
    • Set clear and measurable objectives (S.M.A.R.T.), including revenue targets, market share growth, customer acquisition, retention goals, and increasing the lifetime value of existing customers.
  • Sales Enablement, Coaching & Mentoring
    • Sales Training: Implement regular training programs tailored to your sales team on new products, selling techniques, and how to handle objections effectively.
    • Sales Collateral: Equip your sales team with persuasive case studies, testimonials, demo videos, and other content to support the sales process.
    • Individual Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching to sales representatives to review individual performance successes and identify areas of opportunity against goals.
    • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and trends within the team.
  • Sales Team Alignment and Culture

Culture: Create a sales culture that is aligned with your overall business goals and objectives.

  • Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration between marketing, sales, and customer success teams to share feedback and insights to optimize the customer journey.
  • Accountability: Set individual and team goals and hold everyone accountable for achieving them.
  • Customer Retention & Expansion: also focus on retaining and expanding existing relationships.
    • Customer Success Programs: Ensure that customers achieve their desired outcomes with your product or service. Proactive customer support and regular check-ins can foster loyalty.
    • Upselling & Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services that complement what the customer has already purchased.
    • Referrals/Affiliate Selling Strategies: Help support referral program enhancements and drive new opportunities through affiliate selling programs.

 

You’ll Also Need ... 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing, education or related fields.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of success and familiarity with various sales techniques and methodologies.
  • Prior experience in a coaching or training role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess performance, provide constructive feedback, and motivate others.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
  • Creativity, imagination, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Comfort level working in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
