Innovative Systems seeks a Technical Support Specialist to join our talented SDP (Service Delivery Platform) Support team. This role involves supporting customer systems and maintaining IMS/SDP applications. The position is available onsite or remotely for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with installing, provisioning, and maintaining Innovative Systems SDP applications.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service through timely responses and proactive solutions.

  • Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software issues promptly and accurately.

  • Provide end-user training and support as needed.

  • Manage projects involving clients, third-party vendors, and internal staff.

  • Some travel to client sites is required.

Ideal Candidate Skills:

  • Experience with Windows OS, Linux, Windows Web Servers, Wireshark, network routing, and switching.

  • Understanding Internet standards for server-based applications (TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, SSH, HTML, XML, HTTP/HTTPS).

  • Experience with voice telephony technology, PBX systems, SIP phone technology, and broadband service provider gear (Calix, Adtran, Nokia, Zhone, etc.).

  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Desire to stay current with the latest communications, networking, protocols, hardware, and software technology.

  • A Background in Network Administration, Data Analytics, Software Development, Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science, Broadband, or Wireless studies is beneficial.
