Position Title: Service Receptionist

Job Summary: As a Service Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking service for their vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all customers answering inquiries and facilitating communication between the service department and customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations within the dealership’s service area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide information about services, schedules, and dealership policies.
- Collect customer information, including vehicle details and service history, to create or update service records.
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure timely and accurate communication with customers.
- Record customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns, forward issues to the Service Advisor or Service Manager when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, specials, and service offerings to provide customers with up-to-date information.
- Assist with filing and general administrative duties related to the service department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software (experience with dealership management software is a plus).
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive services and terminology is an advantage.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and patience.
