Job Description

Dynamic Engineering is an ISO9001:2015 precision machine shop in Watertown SD that produces a large variety of high-quality parts for a wide range of industries.

Dynamic Engineering offers competitive wages and a full benefit package

Hours:

7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. option of getting off at 12:00 on Fridays.

5 hours OT every week, additional OT available.

What to Expect:

Do you like to fix things? As a service technician at Dynamic Engineering your days will be spent diagnosing and repairing all kinds of problems on a wide variety of equipment. Repairs will be on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. You will experience a lot of variety in this position. Today you might replace bearings on a motor, tomorrow you might be troubleshooting a servo alarm on a CNC machine.

Duties and Tasks:

  • Follow preventive maintenance procedures to keep equipment in optimal condition
  • Trouble shoot and repair industrial equipment and facilities
  • Interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams
  • Follow existing and create new maintenance procedures
  • Use precision measuring tools and equipment
  • Maintain working knowledge of CNC, automatic, and manual equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
  • Take ownership of your work
  • Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous service technician experience
  • Must have your own tools
  • Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
