Job Description – Small Projects & Service Technician

Job Description: As the Small Projects & Service Technician, in this role, you will be responsible for executing small carpentry projects and providing maintenance services for Residential and Commercial clients. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing punch lists of your projects and warranty items on all Cosand Construction projects to ensure client satisfaction and project finalization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carpentry and General Construction: Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors and windows, and building structures. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Assist with other general construction tasks as needed
• Drywall Installation and Repair: Install, repair, and finish drywall (preferred but not required).
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress. Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Time Management: Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources. Maintain a schedule to meet project deadlines.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on commercial and residential properties. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. Provide regular reports to supervisors and clients.

• Basic knowledge of carpentry skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of the construction industry including key operational procedures and regulatory standards.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Training:

• All Cosand employees will be trained in their level of employment and safety requirements, this will include on-the-job training as well as classroom training when it applies. Cosand Construction will provide all the safety equipment and PPE that is needed for the task at hand.
